We are excited to announce that on March 30, we will be introducing Skillsoft, a new online learning service that will replace our existing Lynda.com service.

Why Are We Making this Transition?

• Skillsoft will make it easier for associates to find and complete courses because everything will be on one platform, Learning Bridge.
• Skillsoft courses are designed to closely match Essex’ requirements. The time you invest in Skillsoft training will be relevant and rewarding.

About Skillsoft

• Skillsoft is the world’s largest cloud-based learning company, working with more than 50% of all Fortune 500 companies.
• Skillsoft courses have been specifically developed to meet the needs of businesses, which means that you can apply what you learn immediately.
• Skillsoft courses are presented in short video format, most between 5-10 minutes long. This means you can work training into your schedule, rather than the other way around.

What Happens Next?

• To make room for the new Skillsoft courses, we will need to retire Lynda.com on March 1.
• If you are currently taking any courses on Lynda.com, please complete them by the end of February.
