Vision Service Plan
The Vision Service Plan (VSP) provides you and your covered dependents one annual exam and an annual discount for lenses or contacts and every 24 months for frames. To use the plan simply go to www.vsp.com or call 1-800-877-7195 to find a VSP doctor in your area. Once you are at your appointment all you need to do is identify yourself as a VSP member and provide your social security number. You can also obtain services from an out-of-network doctor, but you will not receive the same discount as you would if you saw a VSP doctor.
File An Out-of-Network Vision Claim
If you obtain services from an out-of-network doctor, you may need to submit a claim form to the insurance carrier to get reimbursed.
