CONTACTLESS SELF-GUIDED TOURS

Technology is evolving, and consumer needs are changing rapidly, which is why self-guided tours have become a priority for us at Essex. Prospects can schedule a self-guided tour by appointment only through our website chat feature, online booking tool or by calling the on-site team. When a prospect arrives for their tour, they should have a virtual map in hand with details on your community and the unit they will be touring. Even though we won't be there in person to walk them through the tour, we can curate a personalized experience!

To help you create the best experience for each of our prospects, we have compiled useful resources for you to keep on hand.



CUSTOMIZABLE SELF-GUIDED TOUR DIGITAL BROCHURE

To provide a seamless self-guided tour experience, we have created a customizable Self-Guided Tour Digital Brochure. This document allows you to consolidate all self-guided tour information into one polished PDF! Self-guided tour confirmations are automated in Funnel, so the use of this brochure is optional, but highly encouraged! Creating a customizable brochure will help build excitement and provide all pertinent information in advance of the prospect's tour.

You can use one of the following versions of the brochure, depending on how many apartments the prospect will be viewing during their visit:

Please review the job aid for a step-by-step walkthrough on how to customize the brochure. Pro-tip: Pay extra attention to the save instructions on the last page (slide 14) to ensure your final document doesn’t show the editable fields when sending to a prospect.



DIGITAL BROCHURE WITH INTERACTIVE WAYFINDING MAP

We recently added an Interactive Wayfinding Map to our self-guided tour experience! This feature displays a prospect's real-time location within your community during their self-guided tour, which allows you the ability to offer an enhanced remote leasing and tour experience. 

For tips on how to access the map to include in a self-guided tour, please watch this video. You can also use the Interactive Wayfinding Map Job Aid if you need help with adding the map link to the email template when sending your self-guided tour confirmation email.
