Transfers & Promotions

ASSOCIATES MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING AND AT THEIR CURRENT ROLE/PROPERTY FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS BEFORE APPLYING (subject to HR approval). 

WORKFLOW:

  1. Internal Candidate Application Procedure:
    Associate applies to the job of interest via iCIMS Career Portal  and uploads most up to date resume. Associate completes the online Internal Transfer/Promotion Request Form.
  2. Associate notifies current manager as a courtesy to inform them that they have applied for an internal transfer/promotion.
  3. Internal Candidate Performance Assessment: (NOT REQUIRED FOR MANAGEMENT DIRECTED TRANSFERS OR TRANSFERS UNDER THE SAME MANAGER)
    1. If approved, recruiter advances candidate in iCIMS to the hiring manager's dashboard. See step 3.
    2. If denied, current manager will be notified, and they will connect with the associate to discuss next steps.
  1. Recruiter sends Internal Transfer/Promotion Request Form to Associate Relations for approval.
  2. Interviews:  Once approved, hiring manager will schedule an interview with the associate via iCIMS and send an Outlook Calendar invite. After interview, the hiring manager should advance associate to IC_Step C (HM): Interview Completed and include notes accordingly.
  3. Candidate Selection:
    1. If hiring manager selects an associate for a position, they must advance the associate in iCIMS to IC_Step D (HM): Initiate "Change Job.”  in iCIMS and inform the associates current manager. See Step 9 iCIMS Job Aid
    2. The associate's current manager will need to initiate the Change Job in Workday. Workday Job Aid
    3. Hiring manager will receive a notification to add additional information to the Change Job in Workday and submit to HR for approval. Workday Job Aid

*NOTE: All changes must be effective the beginning of the pay period.

  1. Approval:
    HR reviews and approves the change job request in Workday, then advances the associate to IC_Step E (HR): Workday Change Job Approved in iCIMS, notifying the hiring manager and recruiter of the approval.

Hiring manager verbally extends offer to associate and informs HR and associate's current manager if accepted. Offer letters are no longer being generated for internal transfers or promotions.
