Developed with each of your tasks in mind, Essex's Safety Program, is designed with the objective of hazard recognition, hazard control and zero accidents and personal injuries.

The program is based on two fundamental ideas: 

• Accountability 
• Exposure

For any safety program to be successful, it needs to reflect current issues and exposure. The program is designed to tackle challenges our maintenance team faces on a daily basis. In order for our safety program to be effective, all Essex Associates need to play a role in being accountable. All associates need to ensure their own safety AND Managers/Supervisors need to ensure the safety of their associates.

The goal of this program is not just to work safely but THINK safely.
