Connolly Station recently hosted a holiday event offering a gift-wrapping station, ornament decorating, a s’mores bar and more.
 
The group of 60 residents appreciated playing the "December Dice Game," a fun and easy gift exchange where each person takes turns rolling the dice, leaving it to chance where each gift ends up. The community management provided the gift boxes for the game and added three gift cards for Regal Cinemas, Target and Starbucks so that residents would not have to contribute anything to participate. Residents liked that they had a chance to win prizes. The game was such a hit, they played a second time by request.
 
The s’mores bar also made a lasting impression as the guests loved it! In addition to the s’mores treats, residents enjoyed meat and cheese platters, cookies, and cupcakes, served with hot chocolate and sparkling cider.
 
It was the first time Connolly Station engaged residents in this type of event, but because it was such a success, they plan on making it an annual tradition. Check out some of their photos in the slideshow above!
