Attention: All Leasing Office Associates

From the 8/30 E-Hour agenda, here are details of all Essex Rentcafé resources to support you and your team.

Essex’s Rentcafé Support Team
Essex Rentcafé support (rentcafe@essex.com) is available to provide assistance to both Essex team members and our residents. On-site associates should only reach out to Rentcafé support when they are unable to resolve a resident’s request themselves and need additional help. Associates needing Rentcafé support that is covered by the eLearning tutorials will be asked to take the training to provide longer-term support.

Essex’s Rentcafé Hot Sheet
We have provided a “Hot Sheet” of the most common Essex Rentcafé FAQ’s that can easily be resolved at the community level.

Essex Rentcafé Resources: eLearning
To ensure our on-site teams remain up-to-date on Essex Rentcafé, including troubleshooting common resident issues, we have useful eLearning tutorials to support you.

Essex Rentcafé eLearning: Who should complete the training?
All new hires (leasing office only) will complete the training as part of their onboarding. In addition, the following current associates are encouraged to complete the training: 

  • All Leasing Associates
  • All Bookkeepers
  • All Assistant Community Managers
  • All Community Managers
  • All Resident Relations Reps

What are the eLearning topics?
There are four topics, with each tutorial lasting under 6 minutes.
1.  Reset a Resident’s Account
2.  Making a One-Time Payment
3.  Auto-Pay Set-Up
4.  Primary Resident and Roommate Swap
 
How to access the eLearning?
These eLearning resources are currently available on Yardi LMS.
