Hey, E-Team! We're very excited to have launched Yardi 7S. As with any big launch, while our team did their best we still expect some issues to occur at the outset.

Before submitting a ticket, review the open issues below
To support our teams, we're updating this page in real time with any widespread upgrade issues. Before you submit a ticket, please check here first to see if the issue has already been reported. We'll also include any interim workaround instructions and the final resolution.

2/14 at 2:18 p.m. Performance issue - Site is too slow. The Essex Move-out Statement is causing the performance issue. This report has been removed for modification, and we will bring it back up as soon as possible.

In the interim, you may locate the move-out report from the reporting role > side menu (Assistant Manager or Comm Manager role) Residents > Move Out Functions > Move Out Statement

2/14 at 2:28 p.m. Rentcafé  Flyer not available on the resident screen The Rentcafé  Flyer is also available in another location. Go to Roles > Reporting > Residential > Rentcafé > Essex Rentcafé Flyer.

2/15 at 11:20 a.m. Yardi freezes when accessing the Move-in/Move-out function   Resolved. 2/16 at 4:45 p.m.
2/15 at 11:45 a.m. Reports are missing   Reports are not missing, and are located in the Residential Analytic Report.

You may locate the Residential Analytic Report from the search function; however, menu items within the dropdown menu are not searchable because they are built into this report.

2/16 at 8:55 a.m. Entrata applications are not integrating with 7S In the interim, enter application activity manually. Resolved 3/3 at 5:05 p.m.
2/16 at 8:55 a.m. Access   If you get an "access denied" message on an item you did previously have access to, please submit a request for review. 

If you get this message on an item you did not  previously have access to, this permission is set as intended.

Due to consolidated, simplified menus, some additional items that you do not have access to may appear in Yardi.

2/16 at 8:55 a.m. "Multiple Rows Found" error during Final Approval of PO This item is not global, but specific to users. If you encounter the “Multiple Rows Found” error when processing PO’s, please send a ticket to AST@essex.com and our team will resolve the issue for you. Delete the blank rows and click Save; if that doesn't work, close out the PO and recreate a new one. 2/17 at 4:25 p.m.
2/16 at 8:55 a.m. Print PO Access Denied   Resolved. 3/9 at 8:00 a.m.
2/16 at 8:55 a.m. Update Lease Charge Amount from the side Menu does not have the Description field populated.    TBD TBD
2/16 at 11:05 a.m. Site Manager - issue with the sending of recurring emails.  We have disabled this feature until we have it resolved. Resolved. 2/28 at 4:00 p.m.
2/16 at 2:55 p.m. Security Deposit Summary is producing an invalid select file error and PDF version is not accurate.   Resolved. 2/17 at 4:15 p.m.
2/18 at 10:00 a.m. Property Recap Report - No properties available to select.   TBD TBD
2/27 at 9:00 a.m. Some amenities cannot be added via the Review Unit Screen Amenity link due to character limits in the Amenity screen. Amenities can be added from the side menu Unit Pricing>Amenity Based Pricing>Copy Prop to Unit. Be sure to enter the applicable unit(s) in the unit field. TBD TBD
2/27 at 9:00 a.m. Renewals – When processed, end date is the day before the start date. Community Managers can modify dates as necessary. Resolved. 3/9 at 8:00 a.m.
2/27 at 9:00 a.m. Guest Card Quoted Rent field - cannot save changes. If the Quoted Rent is updated while an applicant is in Prospect status, it will reflect the updated rent on the Essex Quote Sheet and does track the Rent Override Contact even though the Quoted Rent field reverts back.
The only place it does not reflect the new amount is in the Quoted Rent field. This field will reflect the updated amount and not revert back if it is updated once the applicant is moved to Applied status.
