Yardi Upgrade News: Preparing for launch

We’re less than one month away from launching Yardi 7S! To keep you well-informed, updates will be shared by email and Buzz at least once a week.
 
Training Invitations are on their way!
All on-site associates are required to engage in Yardi 7S training. Training has been thoughtfully planned to provide you with all of the tools you need to prepare for our launch on February 14.

  • Training invitations. Your invitation to attend in-person training in a computer lab environment will be sent to your Essex email address by Scott Reinert.
    • Maintenance Technicians, your invitation was sent on January 13 for training on either January 25 or 26.
    • All other on-site associates, expect to receive your invitation on January 19 for training that may take place from February 7-10 (actual timing will vary by region).
  • Training videos. Before joining your scheduled training session, all associates will begin by viewing training videos on their own schedule. The videos will walk you through the new features and point out the differences between the upgraded and previous systems. Instructions on how to access this will be provided at a later date.
  • What to expect during classroom training. Training will take place in a computer lab. This will be your chance to try out Yardi 7S in a test environment before launch. Our own L&D team will be there to guide you through the training, and Yardi experts will also be available to support you in class.

 
Notice of Temporary Yardi Outage
In order to finalize the implementation of Yardi 7S, Yardi Voyager and Essex Rentcafé will be temporarily unavailable to both associates and residents. This temporary outage will begin at 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 12 through 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14.
 
Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! In next week’s update, we will provide you with complete details of what to expect so we can maintain operations during this temporary outage.
