Health Hero is Your Wellness Sidekick!

It’s here — Health Hero, a new interactive online platform and mobile app that is part of our wellness program, New Lease on Life. When you log in to this easy-to-use program, you can start earning points toward incentives and rewards! Associates get $50 in Essex rewards points for reaching each level (up to $200 per year), and a medical plan premium discount in 2018 if you reach the Gold or Platinum level. You’ll also be able to participate in fun challenges and get helpful reminders to keep your health in check!

How Does it Work?

You’ll earn a specific number of points for the completion of various activities, milestones and measurements. The more you do, the more you earn! As you earn points, you’ll move up the levels from starter to platinum and earn rewards as you do. Below are the levels you can achieve and some examples of your point-earning opportunities.

1.    Login @ essex.gohealthhero.com using your Essex email address to log in and your associate ID number as your password (you’ll change your password after your first login). 
 
2.    Start earning points immediately by setting up your profile, adding a picture, syncing up your activity tracker and setting goals for yourself.
 
3.    Track your healthy behaviors and earn points that translate into incentives and rewards!
