The E-team teamed up with the Housing Industry Foundation and had a blast renovating the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center in San Jose. The team started by landscaping the backyard area which included a tree removal, new pebbles and mulch, and bright red umbrellas for shade. The grill structure also got a makeover with new blue paint.

The upstairs hallway was also painted and fresh paint made all the difference. Light shades of grey and white on the walls, doors, and trim brightened up the space.

"The best part about volunteering is feeling as if you’re a part of the greater good," shares Regional Assistant Whitney Felton, "What made HIF even better is creating a team building experience with your co-workers."

This transformation helped provide an uplifting environment for the 85 men residing at the Salvation Army.

Other generous vendors contributed their time and materials to the renovation, including Arborwell, Bay Pro Landscape Services, G.A. Higgins Construction, Pierce Signs & Displays, and the Sherwin-Williams Company.

The Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center has been offering free treatment programs for over 30 years providing residential housing, work, and therapy, in a safe, clean environment.
