We are delighted to announce the addition of two new operations team leaders!
 
 

As our new vice president of revenue management, Joyce will be based in the Irvine office.

Joyce comes to us with over 15 years of experience in various strategy, research and analytics roles across a variety of industries and companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Estee Lauder Companies, Mattel, Irvine Company, and L.E.K. Consulting.

Most recently, Joyce was the director of global strategic insights & analytics for Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision, overseeing pricing and commercial analytics, market analytics and forecasting, market research, and data strategy and CRM. Joyce holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Wellesley College.

Joyce assumes all leadership responsibilities of the revenue management team and should be the point of contact for all revenue management-related tasks moving forward. Please ensure all reference documents, workflows, escalations, etc., are updated as appropriate.

Steve has joined the Essex team as senior director of standardization and process improvement and will be based out of the San Mateo Office.

Some of you may know Steve as he previously worked at Essex from 2013 to 2015 on the finance team. Please join us in welcoming him back to Essex!

Most recently, Steve served as the COO of Jamba Juice, overseeing a network of 32 locations. Steve has extensive experience with standardization, process improvement, site operations, and the strategic use of technology, making him a perfect fit to lead our E-Way team.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara and is a certified public accountant.

Steve assumes all leadership responsibilities of the E-Way team moving forward. Please ensure all reference documents, workflows, escalations, etc., are updated as appropriate.
