Our 2020 Internship Program was a big success because of you!

• Last year, 10 interns were hired from Essex employee referrals.
• In 2020, 25% of our interns stayed on in full-time or part-time roles at the conclusion of their internship.
• Since that time, several associates that started as interns have received internal promotions!

Our 10-12 week paid Leasing Internship Program focuses on foundational real estate career skills such as developing exceptional customer service skills and understanding lease structures and fair housing laws. Candidates will have the opportunity to use cutting-edge real estate software to navigate prospects through the life-cycle of leasing an apartment home—from virtual tours to follow up to move in—in addition to learning about creative sales and marketing methods used in the apartment industry.

Participants of our summer program will gain the tools to become an organizational and administrative expert while acquiring experience with an S&P 500 - Real Estate Investment Trust. Interns will also receive competitive pay and commissions with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
