We have once again partnered with five regional food banks (Food Lifeline, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, LA Regional Food Bank, Second Harvest of Orange County, and the San Diego Food Bank) to set up a virtual food drive this holiday season. The virtual food drive works through online donation only with no on-site physical collection bins. The drive will run from Monday, December 7 through Sunday, December 27, 2020.

To encourage resident donations, you will be supplied with a custom donation link for your community and marketing support collateral. These materials will be distributed this week by your regional assistant. Anyone can donate to this contest, including associates, residents, vendors, and prospects. Additionally, each community will compete with all other communities in our portfolio to see who can raise the highest donation amount per unit. The winning community will be featured in an upcoming corporate social responsibility report, and each member of the team will receive Essex Rewards points. The winning community will also have every donation matched by Essex, up to $10,000!

Last year, Essex Skyline claimed the winning spot raising $16.09 per unit for a total of $5,616 in online donations. Rally the holiday giving spirit in your communities and see if you can top that number this year!
