It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Cambridge Park Maintenence Technician Alex Perez.

The Cambridge Park team will not be the same without their strongest "Little Rhino." This was a nickname the maintenance team gave Alex because he was so strong and tough on the outside, but kind hearted on the inside. Alex had been with Essex for more than six years and was happy and always respectful to our residents, co-workers and vendors. He loved when we would cook food together as a team - it was always his favorite part of the week! He worked hard every day, was always punctual, and had an amazingly positive attitude. 

Alex was so proud of his son and daughter and spoke highly of them. His eyes would light up when he talked about his family, and you could see the joy in his eyes. Alex was always willing to help out at other sites and do whatever was asked of him. We will miss him dearly,  and he will forever be in our hearts.
