In November, our LA-area community, Kings Road, was branded with a fresh new name: The Blake LA!

“The Blake LA” was selected as the new name to follow the naming approach of our other communities, The Dylan and The Huxley. It is also a reference to William Blake, a poet who influenced writer/philosopher Aldous Huxley and musician Jim Morrison--each former West Hollywood-area residents.

Along with the new name came a complete asset repositioning that consisted of extensive work throughout the community. Revamp efforts included a refreshed exterior, new resident lounge, a new game room, and a brand-new rooftop deck with BBQ area. Additionally, all 196 apartment homes had new windows installed, as well as electrical upgrades conducted. Many units also had new heating/AC systems installed. Rounding out the community's remodeling are the soon-to-be-added renovated pool, new 3,000-square-foot gym, and fresh color scheme and landscaping.
