Residents dressed to the nines for Essex Skyline's Roaring 20's Casino Night and tried their luck at gambling with games including blackjack, Texas hold 'em, craps, and roulette. Music from DJ WLTRS transported guests to another time, immersing them in the spirit of the 20's.

Skyline Event Planner, Jennifer Lopez, told us, "I worked with my DJ to design a special playlist for the night that included music with a modern beat and a 1920's flare similar to the Great Gatsby soundtrack."

Residents who weren't gambling could be found having fun at the art deco photo booth or sipping a cocktail from the speakeasy which served prohibition-style drinks.  At the end of the night, everyone traded their chips in for raffle tickets, and six awesome prizes were raffled off. Residents were all smiles and said that this was their favorite event so far.

Jennifer knew Skyline's big quarterly event had to embody a theme that residents could really get into and came up with the 1920's twist on a casino night, allowing costumes to be heavily incorporated. The event took about two months to plan and four days to set-up and prepare for in the days immediately prior to it.

"People said the event was beautifully executed, which made me feel super good. Being a team of just myself, it's nice to hear things like that, and it makes it all worth it!" Jennifer shared.

The list of vendors who helped make this event possible include: Irvine Ranch Market, AAV Entertainment, Full House Casino Events, and Mike's OC Bar Service.

Thanks for sharing another stellar event, Skyline!
