Attention: All Associates

Carmel Landing in San Diego, CA, is celebrating the conclusion of a recent major renovation. The purpose of the project was to re-pipe a total of 15 buildings over the last Spring and Summer seasons--a massive undertaking that affected both residents and employees.

During the project, maintenance team members and construction workers worked diligently from 8 am to 6 pm, accessing apartments to make complete the work.  Thanks to the support and cooperation of the community staff and their residents, the project ran as smoothly as it could have.

Sr. Community Manager, Robin Edwards, wanted to extend her heartfelt gratitude to her team and everyone involved, sharing,

"I just wanted to say THANK YOU to each person involved in this project. To the Porters who cleaned up the halls and the grounds, and the maintenance associates who were on call, thank you. To the Maintenance Supervisors who had to deal with parts of their staff being involved in something besides our turns and service requests, thank you. To my office staff who met with residents calming the storms and spending their energy helping each and every person, thank you. I look forward to seeing the difference in the renewals, rent growth, and reputation since removing the leaky pipes. Thank you to my Regional Manager, Nicholas Allen, for the continued support and engagement throughout the process and even attending our town hall meetings with the residents. Lastly, thank you to Essex for making this much-needed improvement possible."

Congratulations Carmel Landing on a job well done!
