Attention: All Associates

Don't miss this to earn up to 3,300 Vitality Points by completing your free biometric screening!

Schedule Your Vitality Check

Vitality, Essex's wellness program, offers ONE free biometric screening each year. This screening, known as the Vitality Check, helps identify the areas of your health that are strongest, and those that may need some work, as well as looks for any potential health risks like diabetes or heart disease. The check includes taking your physical measurements as well as conducting a blood draw to determine your fasting blood glucose levels (HbA1c), blood pressure, total cholesterol (LDL), and body mass index (BMI). To make it easy, Quest will even submit your results directly to Vitality on your behalf, so that you don't have to!

To schedule your Vitality Check,  log into Vitality > Health Profile > Vitality Check > Click "Schedule Your Vitality Health Check with Quest" on the right-hand side.

Earn Up to 3,300 Points for Your Vitality Check

Associates are eligible to earn up to 3,300 Vitality Points by completing the screening and achieving results that fall within the healthy range*. Points are awarded as follows:

  • 500 points total, via 125 Vitality Points for each of the four biometric screenings: HbA1c, blood pressure, LDL, and BMI
  • 2,800 points total, via 1,000 points if BMI falls within the healthy range and 600 points if HbA1c, blood pressure, and LDL fall within the healthy range

*If you are unable to achieve a healthy range result, you also have the option of earning Vitality Points by completing the Reasonable Alternative Standard (RAS). For information on RAS, refer to the flyer below or log into Vitality > Health Profile > Vitality Check.
