There's just one more month left to achieve the 2018 goal of 80% online payment adoption and 65% online work order adoption. 

 Creative Solutions to Encourage Online Adoption

There are many ways to educate your residents about how easy it is to submit payments and work orders online. 

Don't forget to adopt the "Chapman-Brown Plan," as a way to make a final push to reach your community's goal by the end of the year. Community Managers may remember that the Chapman-Brown Plan consists of two creative and inexpensive ways to promote online adoption to residents and is named after the promotion innovators - Area Manager, Richard Chapman and Senior Community Manager at Avenue 64 and Emme, Bailey Brown. 

Bailey approached online adoption from the logical and appealing angle of its environmental friendliness. She promoted her program as a "go green" initiative and encouraged residents to get on the green bandwagon by rewarding their online adoption behavior with a drawing for small prizes like movie tickets and coffee gift cards. There's still time for you to do the same!

Richard put to use some extra iPads and a tabletop kiosk to create an interactive station where his team could walk residents through the Rentcafé enrollment process. In November, IT sent out a Demo Kiosk email with instructions how your community could order and set up a similar station. As a reminder the recommended tablet and stand can be ordered from Amazon and set-up instructions are available here. 

And, of course, there are our standard reminders by which you can encourage resident participation:

• Using Site Manager to invite unregistered residents to enroll
• Leaving the Mobile App flyer in apartment homes with each completed service request
• Reminding residents that they may pay through the web or using Apple Pay - and do not need to expressly use the app

NOW is the time to make that final sprint to the finish line and close out the year strong!
