The Grand in Oakland, CA threw a spectacular Halloween Spooktacular for their residents this year.

More than 120 residents turned up for a dramatic evening of food, fun, and festivities.  The event was a success thanks to several community partnerships. A restaurant in the community's ground-floor retail space - alaMar - generously offered tasty bites, fresh popcorn was on hand thanks to Connolly Station's popcorn machine, and delicious drinks were provided by Comcast and AT&T.  San Francisco laundry service, Rinse, even offered discounts for costume cleaning after the event!

The highlight of the night was the dazzling costume contest in which residents really committed to their characters. Not to miss out on the fun, the E-Team at The Grand even dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters!

It looks like The Grand's hard work was much appreciated by their residents. Thank you for sharing this spooky event!
