E-Team members at Marquis in San Jose kicked off the back-to-school season with a spirit of generosity by hosting a school supply drive.

For the past week, the team has been collecting notebooks, backpacks, pencils, glue, and binders with the plan to donate the goods directly to nearby schools on August 14th. The supplies will be distributed to a neighborhood elementary, middle, and high school.

To encourage residents donations, the team organized a raffle and is promoting the drive via Rentcafé, posters, and by talking to residents when they visit the leasing office.

 Community Manager, Angela Davis, reports that the drive is off to a strong start, "We've received 100 donated items since we started the drive three days ago," she tells us. "Our residents are very excited to participate and have been dropping off many donations!"
