The competition is fierce for which community can most quickly convert residents from offline rent payments and work order requests to online transactions via Rentcafé. This week, we caught up with the E-team at Waterford Place to find out how they are encouraging residents to use Rentcafé.

E-team members Reena Dhillon, Tracy LoVerde, and Soledad Moreno, tell us, "We committed to the goal of converting residents to Rentcafé during E-Hour. With a little brainstorming, laughter, and most importantly, execution, we are making magic happen at Waterford Place week over week!"

When asked for their top tips for encouraging adoption, the team shared the following insights:

1. If a resident hands us a check in the office, we hand them a Rentcafé Mobile App Flyer right back, and explain the ease of making payments via Rentcafé

2. In appointments, we invite new residents to download the app on their phones while we are there to assist them

3. When residents stop by the office or are picking up a package, we walk them to the business center and assist them in person with registering for Rentcafé

Taking these opportunities to invite residents to use Rentcafé has worked wonders in moving the needle for resident adoption. From May to June, Waterford Place online payments increased more than 10%, and now more than three-quarters of all community residents pay rent online.

Thanks to the E-team at Waterford Place for sharing these valuable tips!
