2015 was a great year for Learning & Development

“Training” has changed its name to “Learning & Development.”

Why, you ask?

We believe this name is a better fit since we’re reaching beyond training classes to create a culture of organizational learning at Essex.

As we progress into 2016, you’ll see some exciting programs to support this vision, including an appliance repair program, expanded rollout of the Leadership Foundations program and more.

Thanks to all of you, here are some of Learning & Development’s accomplishments in 2015:

  • Over 500 associates completed the new hire program
  • Nearly 800 of you completed 100% of your Tier I training
  •  Lynda.com launched with huge success – 442 associates viewed over 10,900 videos!
  • 48 CMs, Maintenance Supervisors and RPMs graduated the Leadership Foundations program
