Survey Invitation
On Tuesday, Oct. 27, each associate hired before Sept. 1 received an email invitation from Kingsley Associates with your unique link to access the Associate Engagement Survey. Survey responses will be accepted through Friday, November 20.

  •  It’s fast: The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete.
  • It’s easy: Just click on the link you received from Kingsley. You can take the survey in English or Spanish.
  • It’s confidential: All responses are completely anonymous and are never attributed to any individual associate. *For more information on this topic, see Associate Engagement Survey, Confidentiality FAQs below. 

 There’s no such thing as a FREE LUNCH … unless you complete the survey! 
Communities and office teams that achieve 100% participation will be entered in a drawing for a free lunch. Once you’ve completed the survey, please encourage your coworkers to do the same!

Associate Engagement Survey, Confidentiality FAQs

  • Who hosts the survey?

The survey is hosted by a third party, Kingsley Associates. (Kingsley specializes in measuring satisfaction in our industry, and they also conduct our resident surveys!)
 

  • After I submit the survey, where do my responses go?

Your survey responses go directly to Kingsley, and Essex doesn’t have access to the survey database. In its privacy policy, Kingsley states that it “treats employees’ sensitive data with the upmost respect and confidentiality.”
 

  • Can Essex see how I responded?

In short, Essex won’t be able to attribute survey responses to any one person. At the end of the survey period, Kingsley will send Essex a report. This report won’t contain information about any individual responses.
The only exception to this is that Kingsley will disclose personal information if it’s required by law or court order.
 

  • You said that teams with 100% participation will be entered to win a free lunch. If the surveys are confidential, how do you know the response rate of teams?

To encourage participation from everyone, Essex has requested that Kingsley share the response rates by region and team. Essex can view the general response rate by team, but is unable to attribute responses to individuals.  
 

  • I have more questions about confidentiality. Who can I ask?
