Regional Portfolio Manager, Jillian Bryant, shared the following with Cool Stuff:

"To me, springtime represents a fresh start, but this year feels different for all of us with many changes and social distancing. Every year, I attend "Tulip Town" at a Washington tulip farm in Skagit Valley, an event known for its vast and beautiful rows of tulip fields. Unfortunately, this year the event is closed, and the farm instead is doing a "What's at stake" campaign, reminding everyone to social distance, do what's right for our neighbors, and truly remember what's at stake this year.

I chose to make two donations to the event in honor of Essex. One is for my team, "Team Bryant," and another for all Essex associates, "Essential Workers." At the bottom of each sign, an inscription reads, "Thank you for understanding what's at stake."

These tributes are currently displayed on Tulip Town's website and, at the end of tulip season, will be moved to be displayed on their gallery wall. I think it's very fitting for this time as yellow tulips symbolize hope and pink tulips symbolize familial love and caring for others; and that's what the hard work and dedication of all Essex essential employees reflect each day in the lives of our residents and one another. #WeAreInThisTogether!"

Thank you, Jillian, for honoring the E-Team and sharing this lovely sentiment!
