Santa Palmia, Palma Sorrento, and Villa Veneto in San Jose got together recently to host their first annual Taco Truck Throwdown. The event involved three trucks competing for the title "Best Taco 2018". Each resident was invited to try two tacos and an agua fresca from each truck. After the tasting, residents cast their votes for the top spot.

Resident Relations Specialist, Michael Garza, tells us, "This event brought out more than 300 residents from our three communities and got them to socialize over the competition. They cannot wait to do it again next year!"

After a heated battle, 3-3-3 Taco Truck – offering Mexican, Indian, and Korean tacos – was crowned the winner.  It was a tight competition, but 3-3-3 pulled it off by a single vote and received a custom "Palm Valley Taco Truck Throwdown" trophy for their effort. They will return for next year's event to defend their title against two new competitors.

Palm Valley residents have kept the buzz going about this event and anxiously await the event's 2019 return.

Congratulations 3-3-3 Taco Truck and great job Palm Valley!
