Attention: All Associates

Since the Steps to Success program was introduced just a few months ago, 350 E-Team members in office and maintenance roles have engaged with the training to enhance their position knowledge and expertise!

The Learning and Development team has collected a lot of great feedback about the structure, content, and self-paced design of the program.

Here's what a few associates recently shared about their experiences with Steps to Success:

I enjoyed the Steps to Success Program and the classes/subjects offered. What I found the most helpful is that a lot of the product offered was pertaining to my day-to-day duties and interactions with residents and coworkers. I may have heard some of this before, but honestly, it’s so nice to see different ways to go about dealing with complicated situations, etc. At the end of the day, it was a very good refresher.

Liana Niblack, Leasing Specialist at Taylor 28, completed the 38-course Steps to Success for Assistant Community Managers curriculum

I greatly appreciated the program and the investment that Essex put into it and us as employees. The training was involved, relevant, and I was even able to implement some of it as I was training which was a great help. I am already working through the ACM Steps to Success after having completed the Leasing Specialist Steps and receiving a promotion!"

Ryan Schmeer, Assistant Community Manager at Bristol Commons, completed the Steps to Success for Leasing Specialists curriculum

Thank you so much for your encouragement, I really appreciate it!  I loved the training and thought it extremely helpful and full of information. I have benefited from it and I most definitely will be using it in the future!  I also plan on watching a few of the videos again so I can take in all of the information possible.

Sherry Conquest, Leasing Specialist at The Elliot at Mukilteo, completed the 24-course Steps to Success for Leasing Specialists curriculum

I was blown away by the accuracy and depth of the Fair Housing Amendment Act 1988 lesson. It really inspired me to complete all the lessons to really learn as much as I could.

Daniel Dash, Assistant Community Manager at Brighton Ridge, completed the 38-course Steps to Success for Assistant Community Managers curriculum
