Seattle communities Patent 523, Collins on Pine, and Vox held their first annual rooftop summer kick-off party for their residents. Xfinity sponsored the bar where residents could enjoy a refreshing cocktail with a view, and the community provided fresh fruit, grilled cheese sandwiches, and cheeseburgers. Patent 523 was kind enough to host the party on their rooftop deck, setting the festivities to a backdrop of breathtaking views of the Seattle skyline, the Space Needle, and the Puget Sound.

In addition to the food and drinks, there was Jenga and Catchphrase for everyone to play, but Maintenance Coordinator and party planner Lexi Mahon said the residents were all more interested in chit chat than playing any of the games. Though the turnout was small, and the weather wasn't entirely on their side, they all made the most of it and had a great time!

Lexi and Leasing specialist, Matthew Jackson, organized this event as a way for residents from all three communities to get to know one another. They hope to plan an event once a month.
