The Rentcafé bulletin board will be retired on Tuesday, May 9 at 2 p.m. The reason for this change is the overall low resident engagement with this feature combined with the high amount of resources required to maintain it.

Here’s what you need to know about the Rentcafé bulletin board retirement:

• Retirement date. The Rentcafé bulletin board will be retired on Tuesday, May 9 at 2 p.m. After this time, access to this feature will no longer be available for either residents or associates.
• Open requests. Ensure that your team closes out any pending bulletin board requests by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9. If you do not have the opportunity to complete requests by that time, please screenshot or print the information and reply to the resident(s) via email as soon as possible.
• Resident communication plan. From Wednesday, March 29 through Tuesday, May 9, the following message will be posted to every community’s Rentcafé bulletin board. There is nothing you need to do – we just want to keep you informed. *Update, 4/4/17: The posting was implemented on 4/4/17 rather than 3/29/17 due to technical difficulties.
