We’re saddened to report that Essex lost a valued member of the E-team this week. Jaime Moreno, maintenance technician at Hillsdale Garden Apartments, passed away on December 20 after scheduled surgery.
 
Jaime worked at Hillsdale Garden Apartments for approximately 25 years. He was well-liked by both his fellow associates and residents, and was known for his ever-present smile, outstanding generosity and willingness to lend a hand at a moment’s notice. Jaime was a car enthusiast and enjoyed rebuilding classic cars and attending car shows.
 
An extremely hard-worker, Jaime worked two jobs and nearly 80 hours a week for over 14 years to help support his family. 
 
To say that Jaime will be missed is an understatement. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
