Sarah Judd – Procurement Manager
Sarah brings 13 years of Real Estate experience to her new role as Procurement Manager for Essex Property Trust, including six years serving in Essex's Development department.  Sarah has worked on a number of  new developments including Hidden Valley, Belmont Station, Skyline at MacArthur, Muse and Axis 2300.
 
After leaving Essex, Sarah closed over $510 million of equity investments in the Acquisitions department at an affordable housing tax credit syndication company working with underwriting, construction, financial modeling, risk mitigation and investor relations.
 
She received her Master's Degree from Yale University in 2002. Sarah is also an art and design enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
 
Peter Kihumbu – Purchasing Specialist
Peter joined Essex in 2008 as a leasing agent before being promoted to Assistant Manager and then Community Manager. He was most recently a float in the LA region before joining the Procurement team in October.

As Purchasing Specialist, his major responsibilities include negotiating with vendors and creating contracts. Outside of work he loves to travel.
 
Jessica Davies – Contract Administrator
Jessica Davies joined Essex three years ago, serving on site in the San Francisco region at Fox Plaza and at Mosso during the lease-up. She moved back to Southern California to join the accounting team in Woodland Hills and took on the Contract Administrator role within the Procurement team in September 2015.

While Jessica loves the Bay Area, she missed the Southern California beaches (and her flip flops!).  Of this new adventure she says, "I look forward to being a part of this growing department and helping it evolve into something truly valuable for the whole company."
 
Eric Morehead -  Sr. Purchasing Specialist
Eric joined the Essex team in October 2014 as Senior Purchasing Specialist.  Eric was born and raised in SoCal, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, ages 4 and 7.   As an Eagle Scout, Eric is always ready for whatever new adventure comes his way.
