2019 NMHC Renter Preferences Survey Begins in June

You may be familiar with the National Multifamily Housing Council’s (NMHC) Renter Preferences Study, which is conducted bi-annually and in which Essex participated in 2017 and 2015. Essex will participate in this year’s survey, which will run in June. NMHC will contact our residents directly through a survey administered by Kingsley Associates.
The survey will inquire about key areas such as lease decision factors, pricing, and amenity expectations. Today (Wednesday 5/22), all residents will receive an email from Essex Communications alerting them to the upcoming survey and encouraging their participation. Survey respondents will be eligible to win a $500 Visa gift card (sponsored by Kingsley Associates), and survey results will be made available to Essex next fall.

What Do I Need to Do?
On Monday 5/20, all CMs received an email with the details of the survey and a flyer to post in your community. Please post the flyer and become acquainted with the survey information so that you may field any resident questions.
