Last week, we announced a new company-wide Voluntary PTO Contribution Program created by our Essex Cares Foundation. This program was implemented to support our residents and local communities who have been impacted during this uncertain time caused by COVID-19.

We are proud to share that since launching the program, we have received an incredibly positive response from our associates. Over 2,200 hours of PTO have been contributed and this will convert into more than $73,000 to support our residents through food and grocery assistance funds.

To show our appreciation, everyone who donated during the first week was entered into a random drawing to win $50 in Essex Rewards. The winners are:

A leaderboard has been added to the front page of Buzz to show the total number of PTO hours contributed and the net dollar amount, along with top individual PTO contributors. We will continue to provide ongoing updates on how your donations have been effectively put to work.
