To assist all Essex associates who dive into financial data, the Accounting Department is following a specific nomenclature for the notes/remarks section in Yardi when posting journal entries. The goal is to provide better clarity and insight into what type of journal entry it is and what it represents.  

To help you understand the nomenclature in Yardi, Accounting has partnered with the Learning & Development Team to create a short seven-minute video to walk you through how to read and understand the journal entry nomenclature.
