2017 is a milestone year for Vice Chairman Keith Guericke, who is celebrating his 40^th work anniversary at Essex. 

Reflecting on his time at Essex, Keith says, "The company has changed so much since my first day to today ... Essex was essentially three people when it began." He adds, "It was really an opportunity to build something."

In the above slideshow we look back at the highlights of Keith's career, which are inextricably linked to Essex's history and success. 

Looking forward, Keith says that he "still has a lot of enthusiasm and energy," and he wants to stay involved with Essex for as long as possible. "I enjoy working here. I love the team, and I enjoy sharing ideas with them." 

The E-Team is very important to Keith, as he recognizes that "the underlying consistency is that we have a lot of great people here."

For E-Team associates who are at the beginning of their career, Keith offers the following advice: "[Essex] is a fun place to be,  it's a rewarding place to be, and you can make of it what you want ... and you can go as far as you want."
