Internal Promotion vs. External Hiring May to December

Please review the number and percentage of job vacancies being filled internally (by promotions and transfers) vs. filled by external candidates - between May, 2020 and December, 2020. 60.19% of total vacancies were filled by internal Essex associates - about 5% increase from last month (55.83%).

To achieve our goal of increasing the number of internal promotions by 10% in 2021, you (people managers) must foster your associates' growth with continued learning and development opportunities so that they keep developing their skill sets and be prepared for the next role they aspire for. Please continue to train, refer, interview, and promote your associates to fill job vacancies internally.
