Name the first person and the last person to sign the Declaration of Independence.
 
Answer: John Hancock was the first person, and Thomas McKean was the last person.

Question 2 (posted at 1:30 p.m.)
The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest is hosted annually on July 4 in Coney Island because according to legend, on July 4, 1916, four immigrants held a hot dog eating contest at Nathan's Famous stand to settle an argument about who was the most patriotic.
What is the record for most hot dogs and buns eaten at this contest, and who holds this title?

Answer: Joey Chestnut holds the record at 69 hot dog and buns eaten in 10 minutes.

Independence Day is a significant date for America’s founding fathers. In fact, one U.S. president was born on July 4, and three U.S. presidents died on this day. Can you name all four?

Answer: Three U.S. presidents actually died on July 4. Two of them passed away within hours of each other on July 4, 1826: John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. These two men had been political rivals and then friends later in life. The other President was James Monroe, who died July 4, 1831. One US President, Calvin Coolidge, was born on July 4.
