Important Covid-19 Face Covering Mandate

As we continue to navigate the pandemic and monitor all executive health orders from governmental agencies, we are working to keep every employee as safe as possible. With this said, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is requiring masks to be worn in all indoor public settings, irrespective of vaccine status, for the next four weeks (December 15, 2021, through January 15, 2022).

This new requirement is for all indoor locations in California, including all Essex community and corporate offices. Please remember that if you exhibit any flu-like symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, shortness of breath), please contact a healthcare professional or the CDC at 1-800-232-4636 or www.cdc.gov, and notify your manager immediately so the necessary precautions can be taken. As always, we encourage any employee who is feeling sick to stay home.

It has been a long journey since Covid began. We truly appreciate your hard work, dedication, and flexibility as we adapt to an ever-changing environment to keep every safe as possible.

If you have questions, please submit a Service Now ticket to Human Resources.

Thank you,
Your Essex Leadership Team
