Dear E-Team,

As the end of the year approaches, we want to thank you again for everything you have done this year and for going above and beyond for your teams and our residents each and every day. While we know this year has been different than expected, the holiday season is always a wonderful time to reflect on all that we have and celebrate the goodness in each of our lives.

In celebration of the holiday next week, we will be closing all of our properties and corporate offices on Christmas Eve to provide you with an additional day to spend with friends, family and loved ones. As a reminder, our properties and corporate offices will also be closed on Christmas Day.

Managers will need to enter this time off in Workday for non-exempt (hourly) associates using the "company holiday” code. For exempt (salaried) associates, this day off has been loaded into Workday and no additional action is necessary.

We hope this extra day off will allow you to celebrate the season and enjoy quality time with those around you. From our entire executive team, we wish you joyful and safe holiday!

Kindly,
Essex Leadership
