Attention: All Associates

Dear Essex Team Members,

The health and safety of our team members and residents are always our top priority at Essex.

In recent days there has been considerable media attention around the Coronavirus. Although the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health organizations feel there is minimal risk of acquiring Coronavirus in public places, Essex continues to closely monitor this fluid situation. Please watch for additional team member communications in the near future.
In an abundance of caution for our team members’ well-being, Essex has decided to postpone the upcoming Company Gala and Award scheduled for March 17, 2020 to a future date. Once we have additional information, we will reschedule the event.

In the meantime, we encourage our team members to use these preventative measures recommended by the CDC for this and any other illness:

  • Wash your hands frequently with warm water and soap for at least 15 seconds.
  • Travelers who are sick should stay home and consult healthcare providers.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Seek medical attention if needed.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
  • Practice other good health habits, such as disinfect surfaces, get plenty of sleep, keep active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.

Again, the safety and health of our team members are of the utmost importance. For additional information, please refer to the CDC website at www.cdc.gov.

Thank you,

Essex Management Team
