Attention: All Associates

San Diego-area E-team members gathered together to participate in important fire safety training as part of a recent property audit.

Associates from Carmel Landing and Shadow Point were hosted by the team at Esplanade to engage in the hands-on training. Third party trainer, Route 66, educated the team about the different types of fire that can occur and how to read the classification on a fire extinguisher to know what types of fires it can extinguish. Each associate also had the opportunity practice putting out a fire using an extinguisher.

Esplanade Senior Community Manager, Amy Wenzel Smith, reports, "We had a blast and also learned something that may save a life - or an apartment!"
