Director of Maintenance, Steven Steele, is pleased to announce the promotion of Tony Navarro into the newly created Regional Maintenance Supervisor role for the LA area.

Tony originally joined BRE in July 2012 as a Maintenance Technician at Fairways at Westridge in Santa Clarita. He quickly committed himself to gaining as much valuable experience as possible so that he could further his career advancement. In his free time, Tony enjoys spending time with his family, catching a movie, reading, writing, playing basketball, and golfing. He previously served our country in the United States Marine Corps. 

Steven shares, "Tony is an incredibly hard worker and believes that it always pays dividends! He believes in education and is currently halfway through achieving his MBA. He is an advocate of integrity, courage, commitment, perseverance, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. These beliefs help him be a leader in our organization. If you ask those who have worked with him, they will tell you that he is a well-rounded and genuinely kind individual who will do whatever he can to support those around him."

Tony's initial core responsibilities will be to save the company money through mitigating water intrusion, mold, and resulting structural costs. Tony will be tasked with structuring a program that will involve him in high-dollar jobs to actively review scopes and quickly bid them out while still maintaining resident satisfaction. Currently, this effort is a pilot and is subject to being proven in terms of cost savings and outcomes. Once proven, Tony's responsibilities will continue to expand to include other high-level maintenance initiatives.
