We are pleased to announce the promotion of John Broos to Director of Facilities.  John has been acting as the interim Director of Facilities for the past 6 months and has been a dedicated employee at Essex for 10 years. He was previously the Resource Manager where he oversaw the completion of thousands of projects that helped Essex save millions of dollars in utilities savings.
 
John brings a wealth of experience to his new role and we are excited about his new role at the company.
 
In assuming his new duties as Director of Facilities, John will oversee a program that will identify and catalog building systems throughout the portfolio followed by the creation of formalized processes to maintain those systems. Facility Management Software will be implemented to manage the various property systems along with rolling out a Facilities Plan to better plan and facilitate long-term strategic thinking. John will need your support and cooperation in making this transition successful and welcomes your input.  Please congratulate John on this exciting move!
