Give a hearty round of applause for Ali Ghatala, who has been promoted to Area Manager I for Northern California.  Ali will continue to work within the Tri-City area of Union City, Newark and Fremont.

Ali started in the REIT industry with BRE in October 2013 as a Leasing Agent. His passionate contributions soon led to his promotion as Community Manager of the Mission Peaks team.  Since then, Ali has continued to expand his responsibilities by taking on special projects and proactively performing community outreach within the greater Fremont market. Ali also played a pivotal role during the merger of BRE and Essex by offering his support to both teams while serving as a sister community partner and mentor.  

Ali credits his success to his current and past mentors, and he says that without their leadership he would not be who he is today.
  
Ali is a proud father of two, and in his free time he likes working out, cycling and working on his business plan in hopes of opening a beer tap room.
