Package Pick-up Solution: Amazon's Universal Residential Locker Service
You may be familiar with Amazon Locker, those bright yellow lockers at the grocery store which allow customers to retrieve Amazon.com orders. This service has been so successful that Amazon has launched a product that will allow customers to easily retrieve packages from any retailer and any delivery carrier. This product is called Universal Residential Locker, and it was tailored especially for the multi-family industry. 

We are interested in Amazon's Universal Residential Locker service because it offers the following benefits:

• Saves associates time spent processing and retrieving packages
• Elevates residents' experience by offering 24/7 package pick-up
• Any delivery carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) or retailer may deliver packages
• Lockers are secure 
• Once a delivery is complete, residents automatically receive a notification by email or SMS
• 24/7 customer support from vendor

Tracking Packages with Yardi Concierge
We will pilot Universal Residential Locker at five communities, one or more in each region. The communities have yet to be selected. 

How will we choose which communities will receive Universal Residential Locker? To understand the best locker solution, we need a complete and accurate count of packages received. Operational Services and CMS are reviewing resident package volume as recorded in Yardi Concierge to determine which communities are the ideal candidates for this pilot.  Considering this factor, we would like to remind you to take full advantage of Yardi Concierge to track package deliveries at your community.

Timeframe
The pilot is scheduled to launch in Q3. Assuming we are happy with the pilot experience, we will implement Amazon's Universal Residential Lockers  at additional communities, although not every community will receive this service. Please expect the tentative roll-out ahead of the busy holiday shipping season in Q4 and throughout 2018.
