Cambridge Park Participates in Creative 'Amazing Race' Competition
Attention: All Associates
Cambridge Park E-Team members engaged in some friendly competition by creating a game centered around the popular TV show, "The Amazing Race."
Maintenance and office associates assembled their teams, aligning each real-life on-site team with a TV team counterpart, and watched weekly "Amazing Race" television episodes to see how well they fared against each other. A strong performance by a team's TV team would result in a weekly $5 gift card prize, and if their TV counterpart lost on the show, the real-life team was eliminated from the staff competition.
Community Manager, Jen Adams, told us, "Everyone is really into this, and they end up texting during the show. It's just a lot of friendly competition amongst the employees."
Additional small prizes are eligible to be won during the game if obstacles such as "U-turns" appear during the show's race and the TV team successfully completes them. At the end of the season, the winning team will be awarded lunch for a whole week. Jen says this is her way of joining her team together, facilitating bonding, and making memories!
What a great idea, Cambridge Park E-Team--thanks for sharing!
