Bridle Trails resident and Bellevue corporate office Administrative Assistant, Kim Sadowski, shares a happy, snowy tale with us.

This past Valentine's Day, Kim stepped out on her back patio and looked out toward the parking lot of her community to see a visibly stressed neighbor frantically digging through the snow. Kim approached the resident to ask if she needed help and learned that the resident had just received an engagement ring as a Valentine's Day gift. The neighbor said that when she removed her gloves to try to get into her car, which was stuck in the snow, the ring flew off her hand and landed, she assumed, in the snow somewhere around her car.

Kim and the resident searched for the missing ring for several minutes, but eventually, they had to call it a night and head indoors.

Several days later, on the evening of February 21st, Kim was taking out her trash and decided to take another glance around the area. Amazingly, she spotted the ring!

Kim tells us, "The ring was lying on the grass near a tree. I was surprised to see it there and immediately thought of how relieved my neighbor would be when she heard I found it for her."

Kim brought the ring to Community Manager, Jennifer Martin, who emailed the resident (who had left town on a trip) the good news.

Here is the resident's response:

"Yaaaay!! Thank you so much! I'm so grateful. I will have a great rest of my trip with peace of mind. Thank you to the person who turned it in! This is great news!"

Kudos to Kim for her perseverance in locating the ring and reuniting it with its grateful owner! Way to make the most of a snowy situation!
