Human Resources announces that the 2020 goal-setting process in Workday will begin on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

How does goal-setting work this year?

A key component of setting goals this year is "goal linkage" or cascading goals. Cascading goals begin with senior management and flow through managers to individual contributors. Each individual at Essex will see the strategic direction for our organization and understand how their job contributes to the big picture.

When may I begin to input my goals?

This is important! You cannot enter and link your goals until your manager has entered theirs. Please refer to the schedule below:

Example: If you report directly to a Director, you cannot enter your goals until they have entered theirs; after 2/24.

The deadline for everyone's goals to be entered is Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

How can I learn more?

All associates are encouraged to attend goal-setting training through Learning Bridge. Training will be offered 2/18 - 2/28, two sessions per day. Associates will receive a separate email with instructions for how to reserve the session that is most convenient.
